Ten-plus years leading operating model redesign, governance modernization, automation, and enterprise performance improvement across highly regulated environments.

Background

Evan D. Williams is a transformation leader who converts complex operational challenges into scalable systems that improve productivity, strengthen controls, accelerate decision-making, and create measurable business value. Based in Columbus, Ohio, he is open to senior leadership opportunities in operations, technology transformation, automation, AI enablement, governance, and controls.

Most recently a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Evan led centralization of technology governance across all Fraud lines of business — consolidating oversight across 18 enterprise applications, 108 citizen-developed tools, 7 governance programs, 20+ technology controls, and 18,000 users under a unified operating model. Earlier in his JPMorgan tenure as a Senior Business Analyst, he built enterprise governance and data confidentiality programs from inception, resolving a multi-year audit issue and expanding sensitive-data monitoring from fewer than 500 to more than 1.6 million unstructured data files.

He directed enterprise AI and automation initiatives across 16 lines of business — driving generative AI stakeholder adoption from 11% to 46%, evaluating 200+ ML use cases, and delivering operational efficiencies through practical AI implementation. He built and led a 40-person distributed team across six global locations, promoting six employees while maintaining 100% output stability.

Earlier in his career, Evan led branch operations and sales performance at Fifth Third Bank — earning Personal Banker Circle of Excellence (2015) and Regional Banker of the Year (2016) — and drove operational transformation across 60+ U.S. distribution centers as part of the corporate transformation team at Genuine Parts Company (NAPA Auto Parts).

Recent independent consulting experience through Obsidian North, advising organizations on operating model design, workflow architecture, process optimization, and technology enablement.
